About Annette
Annette Taylor is a thought leader on women in the workplace and in entrepreneurship, and is a diversity practitioner in the public sector. Her background includes roles in philanthropy, higher education, and government. She served as a congressional staffer for U.S. Congressman G.K. Butterfield during the Obama Administration. She is a civic leader committed to advancing gender equity. In 2017, Annette was appointed by Governor Roy Cooper to the NC Council for Women & Youth Involvement. She is also a member of the Andrea Harris Economic, Social, Environmental and Health Equity Task Force and serves on the Advisory Boards of the Women’s Business Center of North Carolina and the Triangle Nonprofit Leadership and Volunteer Center.
